Ian Whittington

I am a researcher, educator, and communications and policy expert. My work spans literary and media studies and Indigenous-settler reconciliation.

I am based on Vancouver Island, British Columbia, in the traditional territory of the Hul’qumi’num-speaking peoples, including the Quw’utsun, Malahat, Ts’uubaa-asatx, Halalt, Penelakut, Stz’uminus, & Lyackson Nations.

My latest book, an edition of James Joyce’s 1914 short story collection Dubliners, is now out from W.W. Norton as part of their Norton Library series of classics. Check out details of the book on the Norton website, and be sure to order it from your local bookstore (or, you know, from here).
